Santini Cycling and Polartec have joined forces to create a unique waterproof jacket featuring a highly breathable monolithic membrane and a Durable Water Repellent treatment (DWR). The 100% recycled polyester Polartec® Power Shield™ RPM fabric is waterproof, non-PFAS, lightweight, and extremely stretchable, representing yet another milestone in reducing our impact on the planet and enabling circular processes.

With its extensive range of motion and highly durable 100% recycled polyester membrane designed for high intensity activities, Power Shield™ RPM delivers all-day comfort, making it perfect for cyclists who refuse to trade performance for sustainability.

Polartec® Power Shield™ RPM is a pioneering fabric featuring a highly durable non-PFAS coating to repel precipitation and has a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head to keep external moisture out. When combined with an industry leading breathability spec of 30,000g/m2/24hrs, Power Shield™ RPM redefines the idea of unstoppable comfort for highly active users. More importantly, it helps solve one of the biggest problems for competitive cyclists: underperformance due to overheating – up to 50% less compared to other Polartec membranes. The fabric’s exceptional stretch and recovery also provides a full range of motion to satisfy the requirements of top-tier athletes and weekend enthusiasts alike. In addition, the use of sustainably sourced recycled polyester reduces the product’s carbon footprint.

Polartec® Power Shield™ RPM showcases the company’s ability to provide stretchy, soft, silent and highly breathable materials that are perfectly adapted for use in the worst conditions a cyclist would ever find themselves in. Completely thermo-sealed and wear resistant, Santini MAGIC features an extended back to keep the body completely dry in the rain. It’s also extremely light, with the fabric weighing only 100 g/m² and the jacket, in size M, just 155 grams. This means it can be easily stowed in the side-zip pocket located on the back of the jacket, making it perfectly portable.
